Studies have also shown that oatmeal may promote weight loss and improve cholesterol level. You can bump up the flavors by adding in your favorite nuts, dried fruits, and nut butter.

Popcorn with no sodium, butter, and other fats is a perfect snack thats low in calories. It contains manganese, a mineral that promotes digestion, immune function, and brain health. When selecting a popcorn snack, be sure to get the air-popped popcorn.
