Hi everyone! It’s very hot here in the East Coast. The weather is perfect to spend time in nature, whether it be in a park, beach, or in the mountains. I’ve been trying out Innisfree for about 4 months. I started in February, and have been using them everyday. Here’s my review of the skincare line.
What is Innsifree?
Innisfree is a South Korean cosmetics brand that aims to promote beauty through naturally sourced ingredients. Upon further research, I’ve discovered that the ingredients are sourced from Jeju Island. Some of their popular Jeju ingredients include Green Tea, Volcanic cluster, and Orchids.
So you’re probably wondering, what makes Innisfree stand out from thousands of other beauty products in the market? If you’re new to trying out Asian beauty products, K-Beauty are known to be affordable, high in quality, and you can see results almost immediately. For me personally, I chose Innisfree because of the reasonably priced moisturizers and facial masks.
Every girl needs an awesome moisturizer. Even at night, our skin can easily become either oily or dry. Luckily, the products are mostly suitable for all skin types and concerns.
At first, I noticed the smell of the moisturizer was very good. It doesn’t leave a strong fragrance either, you’ll only have a light aroma of the green tea. The texture doesn’t feel heavy on my face, so I could hardly feel it. After applying it overnight, I noticed my skin felt much softer in the morning.
I saw the moisturizer wipes online, and I thought this might help cleanse any excess sweat or residue from a long day. It certainly did the job! It also leaves my skin moisturized at the same time. The olive really helps my skin absorb the necessary nutrients.
Along with the green tea line, I also loved the volcanic clusters line. It can gently exfoliate the skin and draw out sebum and impurities that even toners and cleansers can’t properly remove.
The smell is really good. At first, I was concerned about possible irritation from the texture. But the texture was very soft on the skin. It didn’t feel abrasive. Every week, I apply the pore clearing clay mask and remove it with warm water. My skin feels plump and softer!
If you’re like me, sometimes the bag under our eyes can appear heavy. I love using the role on to help relive tired eyes. Every morning, I would gently massage them under my eyes. The roll on feel cool to the touch.
Along with my purchase, Innisfree gives out tons of free samples. One sample I loved was the face mask. It didn’t have a strong alcoholic content you would normally see in a face mask. It helped rejuvenate my skin when it appears dry.
I heard so much about the cica balm on social media. I was curious about trying it out because it’s known to help reduce inflammation from breakouts and scarrings. After a couple of months, I find the cica balm to be super soothing and definitely helped my acne prone skin. I like the texture of the cream and it didn’t irritate my skin at all.
Last but not least! The popular intensive hydrating serum was on my list for last year. Along with this, I also got the the Balancing Cream. The intensive serum is perfect for my combo skin of oily and dry. It did really help my face feel hydrated without the sticky feeling. The serum came in jumbo size, which was a good deal for the price.
I would definitely recommend Innisfree to friends and family. If you have very sensitive skin, make sure to try their “trial pack” which cost less than $15 at most. The brand also has a physical store so you can always ask questions if you’re unsure. Have you guys tried a new beauty product and loved it? Let me know! I’m interested in trying new things. 🙂
